All of
my products contain certified organic shea butter, which is
wild-crafted by Agbanga Karite Group in Togo, West Africa.
Agbanga strives to improve the positions of disadvantaged
groups such as women and ethnic minorities. Their members
are paid 30% higher than the national standard in Togo, and
additional revenues are reinvested back into the community.
They are working toward using renewable power to run all of
their operations, and have even converted their diesel
trucks to run on the unmarketable shea butter!
